I have been living in Zurich for some 30 years now. Early on in my life here in Switzerland, I was a member of the American Club of Zurich (ACZ, now the AICZ) where I edited and wrote articles for the then print publication of the Newsletter.
It was fun working with former President and Club member Joe Caruso who published it. I also enjoyed being a member of the Professional Women’s Group (PWG). Then I joined the Zurich Comedy Club (ZCC, now known as Zurich English Speaking Theatre – the ZEST) and that has occupied much of my free time since – acting, directing and general technical functions. I worked for UBS for almost 15 years and since I have done some video short consulting, worked in actor-based training for Hercules Coaching GmbH, and filmed a few cameo roles in film and TV and for commercials.
I now have a small dog, Deisy, who keeps me busy when I am not at Holmes Place doing yoga or Pilates, or other things. With friends, I am doing short excursions to get to know more parts of Switzerland. I am an avid “armchair” tennis and skiing fan.
