I’m sure many of you know me as the friendly guy handing out the name tags at our TGIF every month. Although I’m Swiss by birth, happily married with two children, my career is what brought me to the AICZ. I worked for Air Canada from January 1970 until December 2019, retiring at the age of 72. During my career, I was Regional Cargo Manager for all the countries in Western and Southern Europe, except France. From 1985 to 1988, I was an expatriate in Frankfurt. Now, I work for ITL, a Canadian company in Toronto, as European Coordinator
But most importantly (as the hockey fans reading this will understand), I am a passionate fan of the NHL Ice Hockey Club, Tampa Bay Lightning! Every year, I spend two weeks in Tampa to watch the games live. I’m also very active in Swiss politics and was President of one of the parties in my Gemeinde for many years and still act as a delegate.
