Markus Leitner, Ambassador of Switzerland to the Islamic Republic of Iran spoke to us on “The Protecting Power Mandate for the US in Iran; the Role of the Swiss Embassy in Tehran”
Annual General Meeting
The Executive Committee extended a warm welcome to more than one-third of our membership at the Annual General Meeting on March 20th. Following dinner, AGM members were spellbound by our speaker, Leslie Kuster, founder of Back from Bali. Leslie’s presentation on recognizing and realizing your financial dreams – was very well received by our members.

Arbon Event
On September 21, AICZ members celebrated the 500th Anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s life with a road trip to Arbon. The group of around 30 enjoyed a relaxing Saturday in the historic and charming town on the Bodensee. This exclusive event for AICZ members was hosted and organized by club member John Moetteli, Esq., Managing Attorney at Da Vinci Partners LLC.
1st of August Brunch
We celebrated Swiss National Day with a “Brunch auf dem Bauernhof”. Over 30 AICZ members and friends gathered to join the farmer’s brunch at the Staldewr-Hof in Aesch bei Birmensdorf. The weather was perfect, and a wonderful time was had by all.
4th of July
This year it was held again at the Fork & Bottle restaurant. Over 105 guests from both the AICZ and AWCZ. The relaxed atmosphere attracted young and old, families and people on their own.
Memorial Day Picnic
Held on May 26 in glorious weather, several members got together with the AWCZ and guests for a delightful picnic in Rueschlikon (Park im Gruene), making for interesting conversations and new friendships.
Mother’s Day Brunch
Mother’s Day rewarded club members and their families with a glorious day at the Top of Zurich – the Uetliberg. The large dining room, which enjoyed expansive views of the cantonal countryside with windows on all exterior sides. The ambiance in the room was tangible and surely aided by the warm welcome and gracious service. The service, the food, and the delightful ambiance made this brunch more than a meal – it made the day an event.
Oracle VIP Event and New Members Reception
This year’s New Members Reception was sponsored and hosted by Oracle on October 11. Lively conversations, a generous Apéro riche and picturesque evening views to Stadt Zürich from Oracle`s 17th floor offices in the Prime Tower made for a great night.

Our traditional Thanksgiving Dinner was held at the Restaurant Grain, together with the AWCZ on November 28.
Wine Tasting
A special Christmas Wine Tasting from Switzerland to Australia was held at the Oskar Kowalski Bar on December 7.
